HWA-RANG – Red to High Red Belt
Comprised of 29 movements.
Meaning: Is named after the youth group which originated in the Silla Dynasty in the early 7th century. This group eventually was the driving force in the unification of the three kingdoms of Korea. The 29 movements represent the 29th Korean Infantry Division where Tae Kwon Do grew into maturity.
